The Skinny Jeans are ON AND ZIPPED!
This is unbelievable. The jeans that are one size smaller are on my body (the ones I got with the FREE coupon from The Gap at BlogHer). I am wearing them NOW. People!
Just for a moment, will my girlfriends please rejoice with me? I can’t actually wear these jeans in public…they are T.I.G.H.T. but they are on and they are zipped and I’m wearing them as I type this to you.
This is such a miracle to me!

Let’s be honest people. You know I love making the videos, doncha? And I had pictured myself recording one today to kick off this thing but…I did not get any sleep last night. None. Zilch. I was so incredibly excited about this that my mind would not shut off for a minute. Now I’m paying for it. Plus I have a cold/chest cough thingy. bleh.
Oh so what. Here we are. We’re all ready. We’ve been blogging and twittering for weeks and everyone is totally stoked. I’ve gotten to know a lot of you on twitter and I’m just giddy and happy when I see you guys all tweeting to each other. I see real friendships forming. This is a beautiful thing.
If you haven’t yet done so, go to @muffintopless on Twitter and follow everyone I’m following. This is for women-only by the way. You’ll see there are more than 20 because we have a couple of fitness coaches who want to cheer us on and others who have already lost a bunch of weight who just want to encourage us.
I’m so happy. I want to see you get fit and healthy. Sure, we’re setting a goal of 20 pounds (yeeesh…that’s 400 lbs total!) but more than anything, we want to be STRONG, LEAN, TRIM and (drumroll please) SEXY. Yes. I said it. Sexy. I don’t know about you but I want to please my hubby. He loves me just the way I am but I know he will be thrilled (I almost wrote “excited” but censored myself) to see me minus my muffintop.

Tomorrow is the big day — April 1st — and this ain’t no joke. You and me and a bunch of new friends are going to lose 20 pounds — TOGETHER. What if each of makes it a priority to encourage and help each other? What if it as important for me that I see YOU get fit and drop some poundage? Wow. If we all have this attitude, this is GOING TO WORK! Here is a little video sumthin I put together for you this morning — Yes, I went to Yoga Class. The people in my class think I’m totally insane now…I am sure.
Working mom, wife and mother of two small children. Designer & President of SlimPerfect Swimwear & Activewear & owner of Customized Payroll Services. With a crazy schedule of kids getting up at the crack of dawn, work and housework, my goal is to fit time in for myself each day to take care of myself and get healthy and fit. I would like to lose at least 20 pounds from April 1st to June 1st so I am in better shape, feel good in my clothes and can have more energy on a daily basis. I plan on doing this by making healthier food choices, exercising for at least 45 minutes a day/5 days a week with cardio and weight training and by trying to get more sleep at night. I look forward to accomplishing my goals and being inspired by others in the 20-4-20 group. I also hope to inspire others by accomplishing my daily goals and sharing new ideas I feel are working for me. This will be a great journey for all of us! A big thank you to Carole for getting all of us together and for her inspiration as well!
