Do you want things to happen? You’ve got to make things happen. Yes this does take work and planning but we need to do it. There are times when we realize and understand that we must get up and out to do certain things in our lives but sit there without budging at all. This is very common when it comes to exercise. Some of us know that we weigh a little more than we should or that we need a little more strength (physical, mental) to make it through each day. What is it that keeps us from doing something that is good for us in so many ways? What keeps us from doing what can make our lives so much easier and that can also make us live longer? Let me ask you this as well, why do YOU do what you do? Why do you get up and take your children to school? The answer I know is obvious. Ok; the answer to what would motivate you to get up and exercise may not be in your face but there is an answer.
One way to figure it out would be to sit and write down why would it be important for you to lose weight.
Do you want to surprise your spouse?
Do you want to be able to fight off certain diseases?
Do you want to be able to play with your children without getting tired so fast?
